If you enjoy working with people — and that is key — helping people get through challenges, helping make people’s days better, then customer service is an amazing field.
Even if customer service doesn’t become your career, customer service jobs can be excellent preparation for almost any other career that requires people skills for advancement.
A customer service job can help you develop skills in proactive awareness, effective communication, and emotional intelligence that will help you in almost an field, making you better at navigating organizational politics and better at managing and influencing people.
