We interrupt our regularly scheduled Monday content for the Memorial Day holiday here in the United States. Each citizen observes and celebrates Memorial Day in their own way.
Today, I will simply shine a spotlight on two veteran-related charities that I feel deserve more attention.
Vision:
To foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history
Purpose:
BTW, here is a picture of Dalton, our Chief Happiness Officer, who received grooming at the local Petsmart yesterday. With our counter donation to Wounded Warrior Project, Dalton got this tough-looking camouflage bandana and stars and stripes collar tag (okay… not so tough looking in his case).

Mission Statement:
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation ensures full financial assistance for a post-secondary degree from an accredited two or four-year college, university, technical or trade school; provides educational and family counseling to the surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps special operations personnel who lose their lives in the line of duty; and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded and hospitalized special operations personnel and their families.
This is the charity we will be giving to this Memorial Day.

If you are a citizen of the United States, I hope you will take a moment to look at these two important organizations.
Have a safe Memorial Day!
